My love for baking started as a kid watching my grandmother in the kitchen make homemade biscuits and fatback. I would sit and wait for those golden brown biscuits to come fresh out of the oven to indulge in the flakey, buttery goodness served with a side of OH BOY syrup, its a southern thing y'all. My family always celebrates every occasion with cakes, pies or other desserts, so as I began to explore my passion for baking it brought back fond memories of home and family.
